Below are OS Maps of Route from Ulva Ferry to Gometra - NOT TO SCALE. Total distance is up to 8 miles. From Ulva Ferry track on Ulva, take second left, then second right, and climb up hill beside small reservoir, before following the main track along the North side of Ulva to the Gometra bridge. Keep following the Gometra track and you will reach Jane-Anne's Cottage (beside the track) and Teacher's Cottage (most Easterly of 4 cottages near Gometra House). For suitably equipped and experienced walkers only - please see our risk note under 'Safety' on this website.
Ordnance Survey Interactive Map below. The four red marks on Ulva show where you must take turnings in the track or the location of the bridge to Gometra. The two red marks on Gometra show the location of Jane Ann's and Teacher's bothies.
